WEEKAPAUG, RI - 23 Aug 2008: Astley's Sandwich Shop, LLC today announced a definitive agreement to acquire substantially all the assets of buzz-chat.com, a privately held web site known as one of the world's preeminent legacy Web 1.0 based on-line chat systems. This acquisition provides a valuable marketing tool to expand the customer base at their brick and mortar establishments along the Route 2 corridor. This transaction also benefits Astley's existing customer base by providing value-added table side personal entertainment options.

Today's announcement accelerates Astley's position into the virtual space and reaffirms their position as an innovative forward-thinking organization committed to quality cuisine coupled with non-traditional social interactions. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed. The transaction is expected to close in Q1 of Astley's fiscal 2009. Completion of the transaction is subject to regulatory approval and other customary closing conditions.
